Apple disclosed obsolete devices

Apple has revealed a list of devices that will not receive new versions of operating systems (OS). This was reported on the company’s website.

As follows from Apple’s materials, iOS 16 will be available on all smartphones of the brand, starting with the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus and the second generation iPhone SE. It follows from this that the new OS will not be released for the first-generation iPhone 7 and iPhone SE introduced in 2016. Thus, the company actually confirmed that these devices will be considered obsolete.

smart2Announced on the first day of the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC), iPadOS 16 will be available for the fifth-generation iPad, fifth-generation iPad mini, third-generation iPad Air and newer devices, and all iPad Pros. Introduced at the same event, watchOS 9 will be available on all smartwatches starting with the Apple Watch Series 4.

A new version of macOS called Ventura will be available for download for 2017 iMac and iMac Pro, 2017 MacBook Pro, 2018 MacBook Air, 2019 Mac Pro, 2022 Mac Studio, 2018 Mac mini, 2017 MacBook and newer computers Apple.

Beta versions of iOS 16, iPadOS 16, watchOS 9, and macOS Ventura hit the web right after the OS was announced. Public versions of the operating system will be available to users before the end of the year.

At the presentation dedicated to the first day of WWDC, Apple introduced a new version of the MacBook Air. The laptop received a new design in the style of the MacBook Pro, 13.6-inch screen, M2 processor, MagSafe charging port, two USB-C ports.
